Last year’s Oscars brought fond memories to Indian film fans. The Telugu film ‘RRR’ and the documentary ‘The Elephant Whispers’ won awards and showed the world the glory of Indian cinema. With the new year upon us, the hustle and bustle of the Oscar festival has begun. The Academy has announced the list of films that will compete in various categories for the 2024 Academy Awards (2024 Oscar Nominations). Surprisingly there was no indian movie nominated for Oscars 2024
When is the awards ceremony?
As always, the 96th Academy Awards will be held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. The award ceremony will be held grandly on March 10th (IST March 11th). Jimmy Kimmel will be the commentator for the fourth consecutive year.
