Nagarjuna is adamant on having his movie, Naa Saami Ranga, solely released during the Sankranthi season. He didn’t change his mind on when to release the movie since he still thinks that the Sankranthi season is ideal for a big-budget smash. On January 14, 2024, the Telugu action drama film Naa Saami Ranga was released. Under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen, Vijay Binni is the director and Srinivasa Chitturi is the producer. Pradeep Rawat, Raj Tarun, Ashika Ranganath, Allari Naresh, and Akkineni Nagarjuna are among the film’s stars.
The movie was released on Sunday, January 14th, following the launches of Saindhav, Hanuman, and Gunutur Karam. Nagarjuna is an amazing businessman who has excellent timing when it comes to visiting during the festival season. It is the ideal release for Sankranti, especially on Sunday, as theatergoers will switch to this movie even if one of the Sankranti flicks is a letdown. As everyone knows, Guntur Kaaram has already let the crowd down and made way for Naa Saami Ranga in Telanagna and AP. Inside Tollywood, word has it that a small number of individuals saw the premiere, and the film turned out excellently. The initial review for the film Naa Saami Ranga is available below.
Story:
The protagonist of the tale is a gangster named Ranga (Akkineeni Nagarjuna), who lives a double life as a businessman. Carefree young Anji, played by Allari Naresh, is his nephew who gets entangled in Ranga’s criminal world. The movie chronicles their adventure as they navigate gangsters, law enforcement, and familial matters.
Naa saami Ranga is an Indian drama film that is set to be released in 2024 in the Telugu language. The film is directed by Vijay binni and is based on the life of Naa Saami Rangas. The story is set in the year 1965 and revolves around three friends, Nagarjuna (Ashika Ranganath), Anji (Allari Naresh) and Vandalakshmi (Ashikaa Ranganath) who are all in love with each other. However, one of them is from a well-off family and the other two are from a poor family. One day, the boy from the well-off family beats up Vandalakshi. Nagarjuna intervened and fought with him. The teacher punished Nagarjuna for the fight even though the boy had started it. In protest, Anji and Ranga left the school. Later, in 1985, Ranga became a village butcher and a henchman of the well-off real estate dealer Iype muthalali.
All three friends are still in love with each other, but their paths have taken different directions. Ranga is in love with varalakshmi, but he knows that it is not possible for them to be together. Anji is yet to find his footing in life. The main conflict of the film is triggered by the negative appearance of jisshu sengupta.
Plus Points:
Na Sami Ranga is a powerful and moving film that explores themes of love, friendship, class and revenge. This movie is well acted, well directed, and well written. A must-see for fans of Telugu cinema. Nagarjuna comes into his own in this film, playing both a gangster and a businessman. Allari Naresh never disappoints even in special roles. Ashika did her best. The action sequences are well choreographed and exciting. The music is catchy and adds to the overall entertainment value of the movie.
Minus Points
This movie doesn’t offer anything new or fresh. The characters are conventional and one-dimensional. The plot was predictable and seen in many other Telugu films.
Verdict
In the end, Naa Sami Ranga is a well-made and gripping film that deals with themes of love, friendship, class, and revenge. This movie is well acted, well directed, and well written. The film is also complex and nuanced, with no easy answers. It’s a movie that stays with you long after you’ve seen it.
