Miss Perfect Web Series Story

Lavanya Rao (Lavanya Tripathi), who works as a management consultant in Delhi, comes to Hyderabad as part of her job. For Lavanya, cleaning is life. OCD is about wanting everything to be clean and perfect. Jyoti (Abhijna) joins Lavanya’s house as a maid. Rohit (Abhijit) lives in a different flat from Lavanya’s apartment in Hyderabad. When Lavanya arrives in Hyderabad, there will be a lockdown due to Corona virus. Therefore, even though Lavanya and Rohit are a company, both of them do not know this. Jyoti asks Lavanya to tell Rohit that she is unable to work due to Corona. Lavanya goes to Rohit’s flat. However, it goes without saying that the house will be cleaned if it is messy. Rohit thinks Lavanya is a servant. Lavanya keeps going to Rohit’s house everyday under the name of Lakshmi while trying to tell the truth. In this sequence, Rohit falls in love with Lavanya. And will Rohit know that Lavanya is not a servant but his superior? Did Lavanya also love Rohit? Telling the truth? Will their love succeed? These are the main points of Miss Perfect web series.

Director Maruthi’s Mahanubhavudu, which was directed less than seven years ago with an OCD (extreme cleanliness) concept, worked out well. This OCD has become very popular after the arrival of Corona. Now.. ‘Miss Perfect’ web series has come with OCD concept and a love story in Corona time backdrop. The series will be in 2021 covid first lockdown time line.

The series starts with Lavanya Rao (Lavanya Tripathi)’s love failure due to extreme cleanliness. Director Vishvak made it clear from the beginning how much cleanliness means to her. It didn’t take long to get into the main story. The very first episode shows Lavanya coming to Hyderabad.. meeting Rohit (Abhijit). Jyoti (Abhijna), who is a working man, also set the goal of becoming a singer. He tried to establish even if there were only a few characters.

However, Lavanya cleans Rohit’s flat when she goes to tell him that the maid will not come. But doing the same everyday does not sound so convincing. However, Lavanya’s odyssey can be exempted as that is the main point of the story. Abhijit liking Lavanya, who comes as Lakshmi as a maid, and cooking for her is a bit of a feel good move. However, there are not many fun scenes and it feels flat.

The director tries to generate fun with the efforts of Jyoti, his YouTuber brother Karthik (Harsh Rohan) and watchman Seenu (Mahesh Vitta) to find out who Lakshmi is. It seems that the love story between Lavanya’s father Gokul Rao (Harshavardhan) and Rajyalakshmi (Jhansi) was shown a bit too much in one episode. The story seems to have gone a bit sideways there. Soon it will be back on track.

The director convincingly shows that Rohit knows the truth that Lakshmi is not a worker but a manager who came to his office to do an assessment. Not too much drama. Emotions also feel natural. However, the series seems to lag at some places as the comedy is not as good as expected. The anticipation among the audience that Rohit must know the truth is not enough to maintain curiosity. However, the last episode turns out to be quite interesting. I wonder how Lavanya and Rohit will meet.

Technical aspects

Director Vishwak directed the ‘Miss Perfect’ series which is based on the story. However, the story written by Thomas and Shruti is not that new. This series would have been more entertaining if the director had created some comedy scenes around lockdown and OCD. However, the director showed the emotions naturally. Music by Prashant R Vihari is suitable for this series. Heart goes on. With the backdrop of the lockdown, the series is mostly set in the apartment itself. Director of Photography Aditya Javadi’s work is also impressive. The production values are also better than Annapurna Studios.

Performance of actors

Lavanya is perfect in the role of Lavanya Rao. She did full justice to the role. In terms of acting, Lavanya gets full marks. Abhijith also settled in the role of Rohit . Apart from looking handsome, he also performed better. Abhijna was also impressed with the performance. Harsh Rohan, Mahesh Vitta, Jhansi and Harshavardhan of Salaar fame impressed in their range.
