When Kamal Haasan was just four years old, he began his career as an actor as a child artist. His debut film, Kalathur Kannamma, earned him the President’s Medal. Haasan is the only Indian actor to win eighteen Filmfare Awards in addition to three National Awards for Best Actor. The only actor with seven Oscar nominations is Kamal Haasan.
