Jude Anthany Joseph is an Indian film director, actor, and writer, he works for Malayalam Industry, he was born as Sijo Joseph to Joseph Thapalthi and Rosamma couple on 25^th April 1983 at Kochi, Kerala, India.

Joseph went to LBS Engineering College, Kasaragod to complete his graduation in B-tech Electronics & Communication Engineering; he was married to Diyana Ann James on 14 February 2015. They have two children .He worked as a software employee before entering into film industry.

In his early career he worked as assistant director for Malarvaadi Arts Club and Thattathin Marayathu, as a great fan of Hero Mammootty he directed his biography as a short film named Nakshathrangalude Rajakumaran and he also acted in many short films, he made his Debut directed film Ohm Shanthi Oshaana in the year 2014 which received Best film Kerala State Film Award under Best Film with Popular Appeal and Aesthetic Value category. After that he directed movies like Oru Muthassi Gadha, Sara’s (OTT released), in the year 2023 movie titled 2018 directed by him was big success and collected gross around 200 crores, this movie is survival thriller based on floods received by Kerala state during the year 2018, it movie was selected as an official entry by Indian government for 96^th Oscar awards.
