Hansika Motwani is an Indian film and Television actress, she works for Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and kannada films, she was born on 9 August 1991 at Mumbai, her father Pradeep Motwani is a businessman, and her mother Mona Motwani is a skin doctor, she has a brother Prashant Motwani.

Hansika Motwani did her schooling from Podar International School and the International Curriculum School, Santacruz, when she was eight years old she appeared ina TV commercial of Hyundai Santro car along with Shah Rukh Khan. It was Juhi Chawla suggest her mother to encourage her acting career, she was married to Sohail Khaturiya on 4 December 2022.           

Hansika made her debut acting as  a child artist in many Hindi TV serials and movies, Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand was her first Hindi serial acted as a child artist after that she acted in Shaka Laka Boom Boom a children fantasy serial, in Hawa Hindi movie as a child artist after that she appeared in Koi… Mil Gaya, Jaago, Hum Kaun Hai?, Aabra Ka Daabra, in 2007 she made her lead role debut with Telugu movie Desamuduru for which she won Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South, her first Hindi lead role Debut film was Aap Kaa Surroor, she was Nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut, later that she acted in many films like Bindaas her Debut Kannada film, Kantri, Money Hai Toh Honey Hai, Maska, Billa, Jayeebhava and many movies, she also judged a Telugu dance show “Dhee Celebrity Special 2” aired on ETV, she also participated in many philanthropic activities, she provided financial support to the children of women suffering from breast cancer, she is also the brand ambassador of Chennai turns Pink, it is an awareness about breast cancer among women. She own teo event management firms Hansika Motwani events and The Balloon Stylist.
