Helmed by the ace director Siddharth Anand of ‘Larger Than Life’, the audience have a lot of expectations from the film. The protagonist of the movie is played by the actor Hrithik Roshan. Story of Fighter movie
Samsher Pathania alias Patty (Hrithik Roshan) is a squadron leader in the Indian Air Force and an adventurous fighter pilot. In order to fulfill the assigned responsibilities, he goes beyond the limits and regulations and does many adventures. He becomes responsible for an incident that took place in that sequence and bears the blame. Post two years he comes back to Srinagar for an operation. A team of Minnu alias Minal Singh Rathore (Deepika Padukone), Taj (Karan Singh Grover) and Bash (Akshay Oberoi) will enter the arena under the leadership of CEO Rocky (Anil Kapoor). How did their fight against the enemies in the sky go? (Fighter Movie Review) Did Patty break the rules again? What happened two years ago? Analysis
This is an air force drama set against a patriotic backdrop. For the protection of the country, three forces fight on the ground, in the sky and in the water. So far, most of the patriotic films have come in the backdrop of land struggle. Often we also get to watch movies that are being made in the backdrop of Navy and Air Force. Similarity, this is the story that revolves around our Air Force. (Fighter Movie Review). Team has tried to show how our heroes perform adventurous maneuvers in the sky. It has more drama and action than story. The story that revolves around Kashmir revolves around the plots of Pakistan, the enemy, and the terrorists there. It also follows the same template. In terms of story, there is nothing new, However this movie is the drama woven around the struggle of a fighter pilot which slightly differentiates itself from other similar movies.
The action scenes set against the backdrop of the Air Force are larger than life and leave the audience in awe. The director has succeeded in creating those scenes in a manner similar to Hollywood films. In addition to that, the movie also has an impact of patriotism. The first half introduces the main characters and the world of the story. How is the preparation in that matter of fighting in the sky? Film showcases different kinds of adventures the fighter pilots do in the sky while facing the incoming enemy bullets. The second half contains the actual conflict of the story. The incident that took place in Patty’s life two years ago, Minnu’s personal life and the sentimental scenes of their parents’ pride move our minds. The main attraction of the film is the eye-popping action moments in the iconic scenes. The film takes the audience to the sky and gives a new feeling.
Actors Performance
Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone acted well in the film. Both of them looked very stylish. Hrithik makes his mark in the fight scenes. He cultivated strong emotions in many scenes by expressing his feelings with his eyes. The scenes where he says ‘Trust me this time’ to his friend’s wife are moving. Hrithik acted very maturely, befitting the nature of the character, saying ‘A fighter does not fight.. He fights’. Deepika Padukone is seen as a young woman who joins the Air Force while giving wings to her dreams while her housemates want her to get married. She portrays woman empowerment showcasing that girls are equal to men even in the sky. In the second half, Deepika’s character develops good emotions. (Fighter Movie Review) Anil Kapoor’s character is the main strength to the film. He is convinced in the role of Rocky. Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi and others acted to the extent of the roles.
Technical Performance
Technically the film is superior. Sachith’s camera, Sanchit-Ankit’s background music and Vishal-Shekhar’s songs are the major strengths to the film. The structure is superior. This is the film from Siddharth Anand after the successful ‘Pathan’. In terms of action, background and visuals, it’s good, However in terms of story line, it slightly disappoints.
