It is known that ‘Bhama Kalapam’, starring Priyamani in the lead role, was released on the OTT platform and gained popularity. Now, as a continuation of the film, ‘Bhama Kalapam 2’ has come before the audience. Initially this movie was supposed to be released in theatres, but it was not possible. Brought to streaming on Telugu OTT platform ‘Aaha’. What are the thrilling elements beyond the first part? What did Anupamaga Priyamani do this time?

Storyline:

Anupama (Priyamani) cooks as a YouTube channel platform. Anupama’s family gets into trouble when an egg worth Rs.200 crore goes missing from a Kolkata museum. How to get out of that trouble is part-1 story. Part-2 begins with her family moving house after escaping the danger. Anupama, who has told her husband that she doesn’t care about other people’s affairs, starts the hotel with the income from YouTube. The maid makes Shilpa (Sharanya) a business partner. Before you can think of ‘happy life’, another problem comes. A former officer of the Narcotics Control Bureau was contacted for its solution and he said OK. The next day he will give two options and Chavorevo will decide. Why did he become like that? What challenges did Anupama face while stealing Kodi Punju’s toy worth Rs 1,000 crore? What’s in it? What is the role of Zubeida (Seerat Kapoor)? You have to watch the movie to know that

How it is:

Sequels, be it movies or series, seem to be booming recently. While one trend is to show the same story in two or three parts, another trend is to change the stories with the same title. ‘Bhamakalapam’ belongs to this second category. In the first part, the director weaved a story around Guddu, and in the second part, he turned the Kodi Punju doll into the object of the story. The template is the same but the treatment is different. The hero/heroine catching the criminals to the police without their involvement, giving a warning when they come out, the efforts of the main characters to save them from them.. such things are always interesting to the audience. Anupama’s character is similar in these two films. It inspires us to fight and win without giving up when faced with a problem. While showing the Anupama family moving into a new house and the opening of the hotel, the director made them connect to the story by introducing new characters Zubeda and Antony Lobo. Both Anupama-Shilpala’s comedy and Zubeda’s glamor are impressive. However, it seems that some scenes are too laggy here and there. The story takes a turn when Anupama has an accident. Villain character Tashir, NCB officials, Antony Lobo in Italy, Kodi dealing with smugglers to sell Punju’s toy… What will happen next? That interest was created in the audience. The way the story is carried out by linking all these together is pleasing. Anupama’s case reverses, though sympathetic when the NCB officer Sadanandam’s character is introduced. The plan to prepare for the toy and the way Anupama and the team execute it are interesting. Even if you know that it is wrong, even if you feel that the logic is lacking, you have to watch those sequences.

Anupama’s culinary interest, Antony Lobo has established the link to come to Hyderabad with a chicken figurine. The viewer who is fixated that only Anupama and Tashir have laid eyes on the doll worth Rs.1,000 crores will face an unexpected twist in the pre-climax. The director who was engaged till then seemed to wrap up the story. Who gives guns to all the characters? who They created confusion without clarity as to why they were killing. It would have been better if that episode had been shown stronger. No mention of what happened to the toy. The final sequence which trims the murder of Tashir with the intention of staying in a range of villainy should be elevated. Interest has been created in the climax that there will also be ‘Bhamakalapam 3’. Will Anupama establish herself as a chef abroad this time? Become an agent, as there are daring adventures? That will be revealed in Part-3. Does ‘Part-2’ mean that you haven’t seen ‘Part-1’ yet? Are you in doubt? Even if you don’t watch the first part, the second part will connect.

Analysis:

Some roles are written for some. is heard a lot in the industry. So the director has written for Priyamani, a unique character. She seemed to be a ‘one woman show’. Saranya is always smiling as she appears on screen. Seerat Kapoor is seen as a girl who aims to become a heroine. Antony Lobo, Tashir and Sadanandam will be in the audience’s attention. Brahmaji made a guest appearance. The rest acted according to the scope.
Technically the movie is good. Background music by Prashant R. Vihari, cinematography by Deepak, editing by Vibhav Naishadha are all done in Samapalla. Director Abhimanyu, who had success with Guddu in the first part, has succeeded with Kodipunju this time.

You can watch it without any problem. If you want to watch a good suspense thriller this weekend, ‘Bhamakalapam-2’ is a choice. Aha is streaming in OTT only in Telugu.
