Anushka Sharma is a famous Indian actress and producer, she was born on 1 May 1988 at Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India, her father Ajay Kumar Sharma is a Indian Military Officer and her mother Ashima Sharma is a housewife, she also have a brother named Karnesh Sharma.

Anushka Sharma did her schooling from St. Mary’s School, Margherita, Assam, and Army School, Bangalore, Sakshi dhoni wife of cricketer M.S. Dhoni was her classmate during her school time,  later she attended Mount Carmel College, Bangalore to complete her graduation in arts, she was very much interested in modeling than acting in earlier stages of her career, she left to Mumbai and trained under Prasad Bidapa by joining  Elite Model Management, she made her first ramp walk debut for Wendell Rodricks Les Vamps Show in 2007 at Lakme Fashion Week and she got finalized for Spring Summer 2007 Collection, she appeared in many commercial adds for Silk & Shine, Whisper, Nathella Jewelry and Fiat Palio, she was married to Virat Kohli on 11 December 2017, they have two children daughter named Vamika and son named Akaay.

Anushka made her debut lead role in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in 2008 co-starring with  Shah Rukh Khan, this was a blockbuster movie and a commercially successful one, she was nominated as Best Actress and Best Female Debut for Film fare Awards for her acting in the movie, she made a agreement for filming three movies with Yash Raj Films, as a part of that agreement she acted in Badmaash Company and Band Baaja Baaraat in 2010, later she acted in Patiala House (2011), Ladies vs Ricky Bahl (2011), Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012), Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola (2013), in 2014 she acted in PK movie alongside Amir khan, this film became one of the highest gross collected in Indian film history worldwide, in 2013 she established her own production company along with her brother naming Clean Slate Filmz, under this she acted produced abd acted in  NH10 movies in 2015, it was a commercially successful film, she also produced for Pari (2018), Paatal Lok a web series streamed on Amazon Prime and Bulbbul streamed on Netflix. Apart from acting she also participated in many social welfare activities, she made a ramp walk to fund rise Shabana Azmi’s Mijwan Welfare Society which worked for empowering women, she appeared in a commercial produced by National Film Development Corporation of India being a apart of awareness programe Right to Education for children, in 2015 she won hottest vegetarian award by PETA, in the same year she condemned the Yulin Dog Meat Festival in China and asked her fans to sign an online petition to stop the event, she launched her own clothing brand NUSH, she launched a campaign named  ‘Pawsitivity’ aiming people to recognize the adverse effect of soil, air and water pollution on animals.
