Narain Ram is a Malayalam-based Indian actor who works in Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil languages. His real name is Sunil Kumar; he was born to Ramakrishnan Nair and Shantha Kumari on 7 October 1979 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India 

Narain studied hid pre-degree at St. Thomas College, Thrissur and completed his graduation from Sree Kerala Varma College, Thrissur later he pursued a diploma in cinematography from the MGR Government Film And Television Institute, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India, after his education he worked under cinematographer Rajiv Menon for sometime later he left the job and tried for acting chances. Narain married Malayalam television actress Manju Haridas on 26 August 2007, this couple gave birth to a baby girl in 2008 named Tanmayaa Narain and a baby boy in 2022 named Omkar Narain

Narain Ram’s debut film is Nizhalkuthu (2002) Malayalam movie in which he played the role of Muthu his next film 4 the People was a commercial hit it was dubbed in Telugu as Yuvasena, later he acted in many Malayalam and Tamil movies, his debut Tamil movie was Chithiram Pesuthadihis, Narain’s fame gone up with his role (Inspector Bejoy) in lokesh kanaraju directed Kaithi (kadhi-Telugu) (2019) and Vikram (2022) both the movies were part of LCU (The Lokesh Cinematic Universe), his latest film is Devara in which he played the role of Irfan.
