He made his debut with a Telugu film called Mail in 2021. It was directed by debutant director Uday Gurrala and produced by Priyanka Dutt with the Swapna Cinema production company.
The film was shot in 2020, but its release was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Harshith has played the character of Ravi in the film. The film was set in 2005 in the village of Kambalapally, Telangana. Ravi was an innocent student who was fascinated by computers. While computers and the internet were new to the people in those times, an internet centre was opened by Hybath in his village. Ravi could not afford to enroll himself in any computer course therefore he requested Hybath to teach him how to operate a computer.
Hybath reluctantly agrees to help Ravi in favour of a liquor deal. Ravi had to borrow money from Shivanna, a local lender, to fund his expenses. Ravi also has a crush on his classmate Roja, and to return the money to Shivanna, he borrows an anklet from Roja. He also gives his e-mail ID to her and begins to fall in love while talking to her online. The cast of the film includes Priyadarshi, Harshith Malgireddy, Mani Aegurla, Sri Gouri Priya, Ravinder Bommakanti, Sunny Palle, Anusha Netha, Anji Babu, Tennessee, and Ramesh Kumar.
In 2021, Harshith was also featured in a web series called Tharagathi Gadhi Daati. It was a beautiful story of two teenagers and their friends, set in the backdrop of home tuitions which rekindles the romantic moments of first love and shows how young love can be difficult than school exams. Mallik Ram directed the series and Payal Radhakrishna and Harshith Reddy were the leading actors in the film.
