Pindam Movie Review & Rating!

Pindam Review: Now the trend of horror movies in Telugu has decreased but before the lockdown, horror movies were released from all the industries. Except for “Masuda, Virupaksha” which came in the middle, no horror movie was worth mentioning. However, the fetus released today has created good interest with the trailer and casting. And let’s see if the movie is on the same level..!!

Story: Annamma (Iswari Rao) is the only Indian who has done a certification course on tantric practices abroad. Srinivas Vasarala approaches her to do a special story on her life. Thus explaining the most difficult case she faced in her life.. Antony (Sriram) & Annamma explain the difficulties faced by the family spirits.. how she saved them.

The original Antony & Who is the ghost of the family? Why do those demons want to kill them? Who caused them to become demons? The film “Fetus” is the answer to such interesting questions.

Performance of actors: Chinnari Chaitra, the actress, was impressed with her performance throughout the movie. Her performance as a mute and her gestures impressed the audience. Eshwari Rao has a character with good weightage. She did full justice to the role. Sriram, Khushi and others tried to impress but for some reason, they did not get much attention. Even though it’s a small role. Srinivas’ needs impact is strong.

Technical performance: The audience is a bit involved in the movie. Good sound design and he particularly impressed the audience with the background score. His work has given life to the film. Satish Manoharam’s cinematography work is also good. The way tension is created with long zoom shots rather than regular jump scare shots is good. Production Design & More care should have been taken in the artwork.

Director Saikiran has tried to engage a simple story in a new genre of horror. Although some Hollywood scenes and movie references are too obvious, he tried to impress in his style. Although the story is a bit confusing in the first half… In the second half, the back story and at the end, the ending was entertaining. Saikiran felt that although he struggled as a storyteller, he was fine as a director. Whether it is because of a lack of budget or because they think that this is not enough. The graphics are very cheap & are stiff. The main minus of the movie is the graphics.

Analysis: If you go to the theatre without any expectations, it is a moderately entertaining horror drama “Pindam”. Graphics & If more care had been taken in the screenplay.. cinematography & This movie (Pindam) would have been a big hit even for the sounding.

Rating: 2.5/5
