Catherine made her acting debut alongside Duniya Vijay in the Kannada film Shankar IPS in 2010. She went on to appear in the Malayalam films Uppukandam Brothers and The Thriller: Back on Track. She completed a role in the 2011 Kannada film Vishnu that, according to her, was “equally opposite to her real life.” It was trailed by the Kannada film Adoptive Parent close by Upendra, which was coordinated by cinematographer turned moviemaker Sethu Sriram.
