AP DEECET 2025: The AP DEECET 2025 will take place in June 2025. The registration and application process will begin in May 2025. The AP DEECET (Andhra Pradesh Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test) is an entrance exam conducted for admission to the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D. Ed) program in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
The purpose of AP DEECET is to select candidates for admission into the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) program. This program is designed for an individual aspiring to become teacher for classes I to VIII in schools in Andhra Pradesh. The exam is designed to assess the candidates’ knowledge in areas such as general knowledge, teaching aptitude, and the medium of instruction (Telugu/English/Urdu). The test aims to evaluate the candidates’ knowledge, skills, and aptitude necessary for teaching at the elementary level.

AP DEECET Notification 2025 – Eligibility Criteria
Candidates appearing for AP DEECET 2025 are required to fulfil certain eligibility criteria that are listed below.
- Candidates should be of Indian Nationality.
- Candidates are required to provide with local or non-local status within the state of Andhra Pradesh.
- Candidates from OC and BC communities are required to have a minimum aggregate of 50% in DEECET rank, while candidates from SC/ ST categories should have 45%.
- Candidates from SC/ST/Pwd categories under the Sports/ OC/ NCC categories are required to have a minimum aggregate of 50% in DEECET rank.
- Candidates from OC and BC communities are required to have a minimum aggregate of 50% in succeeding exams, while candidates from SC/ ST categories should have 45%.
- Candidates from SC/ST/Pwd categories under the Sports/ OC/ NCC categories are required to have a minimum aggregate of 50% in succeeding exams.
AP DEECET 2025 – Registration/Application Process
The registration and application process started in May 2025. The process is done through an online mode.
Step 1: Candidates are required to visit the official website – www.apdeecet.apcfss.in to begin the registration and application process.
Step 2: Candidates are then required to register themselves online through the website portal and follow the steps. After registration is done, candidates are then required to fill in the application form.
Step 3: In the final step, candidates are then required to make the payment for the application form through online mode only.

AP DEECET 2025 – Syllabus
The AP DEECET 2025 comprises three parts: Part A, Part B, and Part C. The AP DEECET 2025 syllabus is based on the syllabus of the 10+2 level of the Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education. Candidates are advised to prepare according to the prescribed syllabus for each part of the exam to score well in the AP DEECET 2025 exam.

AP DEECET 2025 – Exam Pattern
- The AP DEECET 2025 will be conducted in offline mode.
- Candidates will be provided with 2 hours 30 minutes (150 minutes) duration to finish off their exam.
- The question paper will consist of 100 objective type questions carrying 1 mark each.
- There will be no negative marking.
- The exam will have two set of papers only.
AP DEECET 2025 – Admit Card
The admit cards for AP DEECET 2025 will be released in the month of June 2025 for the participating candidates. These admit cards will be released by the authorities online on the official website for the registered candidates.
Candidates will have to log in with their details to avail their respective admit cards by providing additional information such as registered number, date of birth, etc. The admit. It is advised for the candidates to keep a hard copy of their admit cards for future reference.
AP DEECET 2025 – Results
The results for the AP DEECET 2025 will be published online in the month of June 2025. Candidates will be required to provide their roll numbers and date of birth for downloading their results published in the official university website.
