Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has released the notification for admission in Class 6 on January 2, 2023. The Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2023 Class 6 are being held in online mode. The NVS Class 6 admission 2023 form will be made available on navodaya.gov.in and cbseitms.nic.in.

Eligibility for NVS Class 6 Admission 2023
Students should know the JNVST Class 6 eligibility criteria and ensure that they are fulfilling them. If NVS finds any student ineligible for JNV admission 2023 Class 6, then his/her application will be rejected.
Navodaya Admission 2023 Class 6 Eligibility Conditions
- Students can apply for Navodaya Class 6 admission 2023 at the JNVs located in their own district.
- A student must not have been born before May 1, 2011, and after April 30, 2013 (both dates are inclusive).
- He/she must be studying in Class 5 during the academic year 2022-23 in a recognized school to apply for Navodaya Vidyalaya admission 2023 class 6.
- The candidate who has not been promoted and admitted to class V before 31st July 2022 is not eligible to apply.
- A student applying for Navodaya admission 2023 Class 6 in rural quota must have studied and passed Class 3rd, 4th, and 5th from a recognized school located in a rural area.
- Candidates passing ‘B’ certificate competency course of NIOS on or before September 15, 2022 are eligible for exam.

Steps to Fill NVS Admission 2023 Class 6 Form
Students must follow the below-mentioned steps to submit the JNV Class 6 admission form 2023.
- Visit the Navodaya Vidyalaya’s official site- navodaya.gov.in.
- Click on the link of Navodaya Vidyalaya admission 2023 class 6 link as shown in the following image.
- On the next page, click on the check box of ‘Have you read the prospectus’ if the prospectus has been read thoroughly and click on the ‘Proceed’ button.
- In the first section, enter personal details: Class 5 school details: State, district, block, school name, basic details, contact details, category, examination medium, annual income of parents and other all fields.
- After that, fill the second section of communication details which includes: Present residential address,
- Now, fill out Class 3rd, 4th and 5th details in the next section of ‘previous school details’.
- Upload the documents and images in the respective fields and click on “Submit” button.
- Check all details entered in Navodaya Class 6 admission form 2023 and ensure they are correct. In case of error, edit the form and correct it.
- Click on the ‘Submit’ button to save NVS Class 6 admission 2023 form.
- Note down the application number and download the copy of the confirmation page.
Navodaya Class 6 Admission 2023 Exam Pattern
JNVST Class 6 exam pattern will give insight into the number of questions asked in each topic, marks awarded and the duration of the Navodaya 6th class admission test.
- NVS Class 6 admission 2023 will be conducted for a duration of 2 hours from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Additional 40 minutes will be given to ‘“Divyang students or differently-abled students’.
- There is no negative marking.
- There will be 03 sections in the question paper containing 80 questions for 100 marks in total.
- Extra 40 minutes will be given to differently-abled students.

Syllabus of Navodaya 6th Class Admission Test
Students for NVS Class 6 Admission 2023 will be selected on the basis of their performance in the JNVST 2023. Students appearing for the nvsadmissionclasssix test must be aware of the syllabus. The syllabus of JNV Class 6 admission test contains the important topics asked in the test.
- There will be 3 sections – Mental Ability Test (MAT), Arithmetic Test (AT) and language test.
- The topics covered in MAT are figure matching, analogy odd man out, embedded figure, and pattern completion among others.
- The topics asked from Mathematics are LCM/HCF, number and numeric system, decimals, fractional number, etc.
- A total of 20 questions will be asked in the Language Test Section. The questions will be related to grammar and writing skills.
