For the undergraduate programs, IISERs offer admission to courses leading to BS-MS (Dual Degree) and BS Degree (only at IISER Bhopal) Programs. All admissions are only through the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2024.
About the BS and BS-MS (Dual Degree) Programs
- 5-Year (Dual Degree) program for science students and 4-Year BS Degree program for Engineering Sciences and Economic Sciences (offered only at IISER Bhopal).
- Students admitted to the IISERs can pursue their BS/BS-MS programs either in Natural Sciences or Engineering Sciences or Economic Sciences
- Classroom learning integrated with research, providing ample scope for interdisciplinary activities

Eligibility Criteria for IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2024
- Applicants must be Indian nationals or PIO or OCI to apply for IAT 2024
- Candidates must have passed the Class XII (or equivalent) examination with science stream in 2022, 2023 or 2024 from any board recognized by Council of Boards of School Education in India COBSE
- Candidates must have taken at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics during their Class XII (or equivalent) examination
