After IITs, NSITs are the name of technical education in the country! Many of these institutes also offer MCA course. Admission through common examination. For this, the National Institutes conduct the MCA Common Entrance Test (NIM Set) every year at the national level. Recently Nim Set-2023 was announced. This year NIM CET is organized by NIT, Jamshedpur.

Admission in 9 NITs: Admission in 9 National Institutes of Technology (NIT) is available through NIT. Warangal is one of them. The MCA syllabus here is designed according to the requirements of domestic and foreign IT organizations. All institutions follow a common curriculum. The duration of the MCA course is three years. However, NIT, Warangal provides the opportunity to withdraw after two years of the course. Post Graduate Advanced Diploma in Computer for successful completion of two years of study Applications award the degree.

Eligibility for NIM CET 2023
Any course in B.Sc, BCA, BET, B.Voc (Computer Science/ Computer Applications) with Maths or Statistics as a subject or completed B.Tech / BE in any branch can apply. A minimum of 60 per cent marks (55 per cent for SC, ST, Divyangs) is mandatory in any course. Those in final year courses are also eligible.
Exam Pattern NIM CET 2023
Duration of the exam is two hours. There are total 120 questions. The question paper will be in English medium. 50 questions will be asked from Mathematics, 40 from Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning, 20 from Computer Awareness and 10 from General English. There will be question paper for total 1000 marks. Negative marking system will be in force.
