Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released Navodaya Class 6 Admission 2025-26 notification (prospectus) for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST)- 2025 for lass 6 admission in 2025-26 session
Eligible candidates can apply online for the JNVST 2025 from the website navodaya.gov.in
Objectives of the Scheme for Navodaya Class 6 Admission 2025-26
(i) To provide good quality modern education including a strong component of culture, inculcation of values, awareness of the environment, adventure activities and physical education to the talented children predominantly from rural areas.
(ii) To ensure that students attain a reasonable level of competency in three languages.
(iii) To promote national integration through migration of students from Hindi to Non Hindi speaking State and vice-versa.
(iv) To serve in each district as focal point for improvement in quality of school education in general through sharing of experiences and facilities.

Eligibility for Navodaya Class 6 Admission 2025-26
- The candidates who have studied in class 5 (V) in the session 2024-25 in any govt recognized school in the same district for which a student is applying.
- The candidate should be born before 01-05-2013 and after 31-07-2015 (Both dates are inclusive).

Selection Process for Navodaya Class 6 Admission 2025-26
The selection for the Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6th Admission will be done on the basis of a written exam that will be conducted through the JNVST-2025. The JNVST 2025 Exam pattern is given here:
