Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released the notification (prospectus) for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST)- 2024 on 19 June 2023 for admission in the class 6th class for the session 2024-25.
Eligible candidates can apply online for the JNVST 2024 from the website navodaya.gov.in
Objectives of the Scheme for Navodaya Class 6 Admission 2024-25
(i) To provide good quality modern education including a strong component of culture, inculcation of values, awareness of the environment, adventure activities and physical education to the talented children predominantly from rural areas.
(ii) To ensure that students attain a reasonable level of competency in three languages.
(iii) To promote national integration through migration of students from Hindi to Non Hindi speaking State and vice-versa.
(iv) To serve in each district as focal point for improvement in quality of school education in general through sharing of experiences and facilities.

Eligibility for Navodaya Class 6 Admission 2024-25
- The candidates who have studied in class 5 (V) in the session 2023-24 in any govt recognized school in the same district for which a student is applying.
- The candidate should be born between 1 May 2012 and 31 July 2014 (both dates inclusive).

Selection Process for Navodaya Class 6 Admission 2024-25
