Likitha Murthy completed her schooling from Mahila Mandali Vidya Samsthe, Bangalore, Karnataka, presently she is pursuing her masters in M.Com, she balance her schedule with both acting and studies securing 80% marks without neglecting studies, her hobbies are dancing and painting if she didn’t became an actress she would have become an artist

Later after Bangaru Panjaram serial she acted in Rakhi Poornima which aired on Star Maa and Rajeshwari Villas Coffee Club serial in Zee Telugu, she is well known for her Rajeshwai role from Rajeshwari Villas Coffee Club serial which brought her a good fame
