Natarajan Chandrasekaran is an Indian Businessman and present chairperson of Tata Groups, earlier he was COO and executive director of TCS, he was born on 2 June 1963 in Mohanur, Tamil Nadu, India. His father Srinivasan Natarajan is a lawyer by profession and he has five siblings. For his excellence, he was awarded with Padma Bhushan in the year 2022.
Chandrasekaran acquired his degree in applied science from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Tamil Nadu and he pursued his masters in Computer applications from Regional Engineering College, Tiruchirappalli in 1978, he was married to Lalitha and they have a son Pranav, he is currently pursuing his Unger graduation.
Chandrasekaran joined as an intern TCS and step by step he became COO in 2007 and CEO in 2009. He was the first non-family member of TATA who became Chairperson of Tata Group, he served as chairman for National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) from 2012-13. He became chairperson of Tata Groups after cyrus mistry step downed as Cahirperson.
