Amaravati Development: XLRI starts its Campus Construction in Amaravati

A big boost for the capital city Amaravati. So far major private Universities of India like SRM, VITS, AMITY, AMRITA have already established their campus in Amaravati, Capital of Andhra Pradesh.

Now the leading Leading Business School – Xavier School of Management XLRI to begin Campus Construction in Amaravati.

It will be the first campus from XLRI in South India.Xavier School of Management met the Municipal administration minister and expressed their plans to  set up their campus in Amaravati on July 4th 2024.

XLRI – Xavier School of Management (XLRI or formerly Xavier Labour Relations Institute) is a private business school run by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India. It was founded in 1949 in the steel city of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand and is the oldest business school in India. In 2020, the same society started a new campus in Jhajjar, Delhi. Now it’s third campus will be setup in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh. The total cost of this project will be around 250 Crore. Graduation and Post Graduation courses will be offered here.

Land spanning across 50 acres was already allocated by APCRDA prior to 2019 by the TDP government.

XLRI is ranked 9th among management schools in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2023.

It was ranked first in Outlook India’s “Top Private MBA Institutes” of 2022.
