Gangavva is a Social Media Influencer and Actress. She is a 60-year-old Indian woman. She lives in a village called Lambadipally, Jagtial District in Telangana. She is a homemaker and used to work as a daily wage labourer in the fields. But now she is the most famous YouTube star. She is the first elderly YouTube star from a village in Telangana State. She acts for a YouTube channel named My Village Show in Telugu which presents village culture to people all around the world.
She also has a separate YouTube channel named My Village Show Gangavva where she presents her daily life activities and her experiences meeting different artists in different fields. Despite being a villager she has a modern outlook towards society and has a very natural style of acting. These things made people love her a lot and thereby made her a star.
In 2024, Gangavva to be part of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 8 as a wildcard contestant, hosted by King Nagarjuna. Her entry into the reality show gave fans a closer look at her personality, as she navigated the unique challenges and dynamics of the Bigg Boss house.

Gangavva Family Background:
Gangavva’s parents died when she was three years old. Her Grandparents took care of her. Her grandparents married her to a local village boy at the age of five. By the age of 26, She gave birth to four children(three daughters and one son). She has eight grandchildren. Her husband was a drunkard and used to torment her. She has faced many complications in her life.
Gangavva worked hard to look after her family. She used to go to fields, cut grass, plough, make cigarettes, etc. Her Son-in-law who is a filmmaker started a YouTube channel “My Village Show” in 2012. The content on that YouTube channel is about village culture, Rural people, and their daily routines. He used to make videos with Gangavva and upload them on the YouTube channel. Viewers loved the way of Gangavva’s reactions and words. Eventually, things changed then and now. She never thought that she would reach these heights.
