Career

Dharsha Gupta started her acting journey in Tamil television with the serial “Mullum Malarum” on Zee Tamil. She played the role of Vijayalakshmi in this series. Following this, she appeared in the serial “Senthoora Poove” on Star Vijay, where she portrayed an important character alongside Ranjith.

In 2020, Gupta gained widespread recognition for her participation in the comedy reality show “Cooku with Comali” (season 2). Her stint on the show was well-received, elevating her popularity significantly.

The following year, director Mohan G. offered her a lead role in his action thriller film “Rudra Thandavam,” marking her debut as a lead actress in films. She played the character Varahi in the movie. In the same year, she won the Best Debutante Actress Of The Year award at the FAB AWARD film festival for her performance.

Additionally, Gupta ventured into humanitarian work during the COVID-19 lockdown in India. She assisted over 20,000 people by providing shelter and basic medical needs, earning her the Heart of the Year award for her service to the community.
