Edcet Eligibility
Eligibility The candidates should fulfil the following eligibility criteria
- The candidates should have passed B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.Sc.(Home Science)/B.C.A./B.B.M. examination from any University in Andhra Pradesh or a recognized University outside Andhra Pradesh.
- The candidates who are appearing for the final degree examinations of 2025 are also eligible to appear for the entrance examination.
- Candidates should have secured 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree i.e. B.A./B.Sc/B.Com (Home Science)/BCA/BBM and/or in the Masters Degree or any other qualification equivalent thereto. However, the candidates belonging to all other reserved categories should have secured 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
- The qualifying mark in the Entrance Test for all candidates (except SC/ST) is 37 out of the total marks (i.e. 25%). For the candidates belonging to SC/ST communities,s there will be no qualifying marks for ranking.
- The candidates should have completed 19 years of age on 01-03-2025.

- Mode of exam: Offline mode
- Duration: 2 Hours
- Total no. of questions: 150 questions
- Total marks: 150 marks
- Each question carries 1 mark.
- No negative marking
- Part A will be General English and Part-B will be General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude.
- Candidate must choose a subject for Part-C of the question paper from mathematics, physical sciences, biological sciences, social studies, and English subjects.
