Varsha Usgaonkar is one of the most popular actresses in the Marathi film industry during the 1990s, Varsha Usgaonkar rose to fame with her role in the superhit Marathi play Brahmachari. The daughter of the former Deputy Speaker of Goa, A.K.S Usgaonkar, Varsha made her debut on the silver screen with the Bollywood film Insaniyat Ka Devta (1993). A few of her other popular films include Gammat Jammat (1987), Ghar Jamai (1992), Ek Hota Vidushak (1993), Style (2001), The Rising: Ballad of Mangal Pandey (2005), Arjun (2011), Super Nani (2014) and Oli Ki Suki (2017), a Marathi-language film directed by Anand Dilip Gokhale. She is associated with the 2018 Konkani drama Zanvoy No.1 directed by Harry Fernandes Barkur.
