Career

Dhoopar kickstarted his modeling career with appearances in over a hundred commercials for brands such as Maruti Suzuki, Parker, Dabur Honey, Samsung Galaxy, and Videocon Mobile. Before venturing into acting, he completed an advanced course in fashion design and served as a member of an airline cabin crew.

His television debut was as Ansh in Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg. Furthermore, he portrayed Shikhar in Zindagi Kahe – Smile Please, Sushant in Mrs. Tendulkar, and Bhavesh Patel in Behenein on Star Plus. He also had a cameo role as Amar in Kuch Toh Log Kahenge on Sony TV.

From 2013 to 2017, he starred alongside Dipika Kakar as Prem Bhardwaj in the Colors TV series Sasural Simar Ka. He also hosted the grand finale of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. Additionally, he participated in the Box Cricket League from 2014 to 2016 and played the role of Dhruba in Suhaagi Sindoor in 2016. His portrayal of Karan Luthra in Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya spanned from 2017 to 2022.

In 2020, Dhoopar portrayed Cheel Aakesh in Naagin 5 and stepped down from hosting Dance India Dance 7 in 2019. It was officially announced that he would join Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 in July 2022.
