Saranya Anand is an Indian actress who mainly works in Malayalam films. Saranya is an established actress, model, choreographer, and reality show participant. Born in Surat, Gujarat, Saranya Anand is the daughter of Mr.Anand Ragavan and Mrs.Amritha. She has a sister Divya Anand. Saranya and her family moved to Kerala, and she did her schooling in St.Thomas Higher Secondary School.
Saranya pursued her B.Sc. Nursing from Mangalore. Her first step in her career was working as an assistant choreographer in the movie Amen (2013). Later in 2017, Saranya made her acting debut with the movie 1971: Beyond Border. Saranya went on to play the lead in the films Laughing Apartment near Girinagar and Thanaha. She has since been in many movies including Achayans (2017), Cappuccino (2017), Chunkzz (2017), Chanakiya Thanthram (2018), A for Apple (2019), Mamangam (2019), Aakashaganga (2019).
Having established her popularity in films, Saranya made her small screen appearance with the adventure reality show Dare the Fear in Asianet, and the dance reality show Dance Kerala Dance in Zee Keralam. Growing up, she also developed a great interest in Kabaddi and has won matches at the State level competitions. Saranya Anand says that she is a big devotee of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
