When Shrikant Jadhav was in the ninth grade, he moved from Ahmednagar to Mumbai. At the age of 18, he was selected for the Maharashtra state kabaddi team and played for the state team in national competitions. Due to his performance at the state level, Jadhav received the opportunity to receive professional training in kabaddi at SAI in Kandivali, Mumbai.

Pro Kabaddi League (PKL)

After struggling in domestic tournaments for two years, Shrikant Jadhav was signed by Jaipur Pink Panthers in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) during its second season. In his third season with Bengal Warriors, he managed to score 10 raid points in five matches. However, he suffered a shoulder injury that forced him to take a break for almost a year.

Shrikant Jadhav then played the fourth season of the Pro Kabaddi League with Bengal Warriors; however, he only managed to score 7 raid points in 5 matches. Consequently, the team decided to let him go, and he then joined U Mumba in the 5th season, where he improved significantly and scored 86 raid points in 19 matches.

In the 6th and 7th seasons, Shrikant Jadhav played for UP Yoddha and scored 141 and 148 raid points respectively. He continued to play for the team in the 8th season of PKL in 2021. He then participated in the National Railways championships organised at Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh in October 2023 and won a bronze medal.
