APTWREIS Admissions 2023 in AP Ekalavya Model Gurukula Vidyalayas

An admission notice has been released for admissions in the 6th class for the academic year 2023-24 in 28 Ekalavya Model Gurukula Vidyalayas under the Government of Andhra Pradesh Tribal Welfare Gurukula Vidyalayas Organization and to fill up the remaining bag seats in the 7th, 8th and 9th classes.

Free accommodation and education will be provided to selected students.

6th Class Admissions in AP Ekalavya Model Gurukula Vidyalayas

Details of Seats: There are a total of 1,680 (840 boys, 840 girls) seats in each Ekalavya Model Gurukula Vidyalaya with 60 seats each in the sixth class. There are 126 (48 girls, 78 boys) seats in seventh class, 81 (28 girls, 53 boys) seats in eighth class and 53 (29 girls, 24 boys) seats in ninth class.

Eligibility for APTWREIS Admissions 2023

Students seeking admissions in Class VI must have completed Class 5 in the academic year 2022-23. For admission in 7th, 8th and 9th classes one must have passed 6th, 7th and 8th respectively. Annual income of student’s parents is Rs. Should not exceed one lakh.

Age Limit for APTWREIS Admissions 2023

10-13 years for Class VI, 11-14 years for Class VII, 12-15 years for Class VIII, and 13-16 years for Class IX as on March 31, 2023.

Selection Process for APTWREIS Admissions 2023

Students will be selected based on written test, rule of reservation.

Exam Pattern for APTWREIS Admissions 2023

• There will be an exam of 100 marks for class VI. Questions will be asked in Mental Ability (50 questions), Arithmetic (25 questions), Language (Telugu- 25 questions).
• There will be an exam of 200 marks for classes 7, 8, 9. Questions will be asked from English (10 questions), Regional Language (Telugu- 10 questions), Maths (30 questions), Science (30 questions), Social Science (20 questions). The exam will be conducted in Telugu and English medium.
