Dr.Y.S.R. Horticultural University (Dr.YSRHU) has invited online application for admission into Diploma in Horticulture and Diploma in Horticultural Food Processing for the academic year 2024-25, students who are interested can apply online from the official website

Eligibility for Horticulture Diploma Admissions 2024

Candidate should have passed SSC Examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education
Candidates who appeared SSC or equivalent examination held in March/April-2024, and whose results are yet to be declared can also apply
Candidate should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh as defined in G.O. (P). No. 646, Education (W) Dept, dated. 10.07.1979 and its subsequent amendments
The students who wish to take admission in B.Ed. with B.E/ B.Tech must have Science/Mathematics as one of the subjects
Candidates who wish to seek admission into these courses shall have to complete 15 years of age as on 31-08-2024 with an upper age limit of 22 years (Born in between 31.08.2002 and 31.08.2009)

Application Fee for Horticulture Diploma Admissions 2024

Online application and counseling fee for candidates belong to SC/ST and differently abled (PH) category is Rs.400/- and for all other candidates Rs.800/.

Selection Procedure for Horticulture Diploma Admissions 2024

Per cent of marks/ Total marks obtained in SSC or its equivalent examination will be considered in the order of merit for seat allotment
In case of tie, the marks/grade point obtained first in Science and later in Mathematics and Social, respectively will be taken into consideration for tie breaking.
In case if tie still continues, the age of the candidates will be taken into consideration and the older candidates will be given preference

Bonafide / Study Certificate from 4th to 10th Classes
Transfer certificate of SSC
Non-Municipal Area Study Certificate (FORM-I enclosed in this information bulletin) for the students studied in rural areas.
EWS certificate issued by the Thasildhar for those who are opt the seat under EWS.
Special category certificates- PH, Sports, NCC and CAP
PH– Certificate issued by District Medical Board (Sidearm). Candidates with 40% disability
Sports, NCC and CAP – Certificate issued by competent authority
