The Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur on behalf of APSCHE for admission to MBA and MCA programs in various universities and colleges of Andhra Pradesh.

AP ICET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To appear for the APICET exam, the candidate must fulfill all the eligibility requirements set by the authorities. The basic AP ICET eligibility criteria 2024 for MBA and MCA programs are given below:

  • Nationality: The candidate applying for the exam must be an Indian national and satisfy local/non-local status requirements as per the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974.
  • Academic Qualification: Candidate should have passed graduation or equivalent examination in 10+2+3/4 pattern from an Institute recognized by UGC (University Grants Commission).
    • For MBA: Candidates should have passed a bachelor’s degree in any subject of 3/4 years of duration or equivalent examination from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ ST/ BC categories).
    • For MCA: Candidates should have passed a bachelor’s degree of 3/4 years of duration with mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects at 10+2 level or graduation level from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ ST/ BC categories).
  • Candidates appearing in their final year degree examination are also eligible to apply for the AP ICET 2024.

  • An application ID and password will be generated and sent to the registered mobile number and email ID.

AP ICET 2024 Exam Pattern

The AP ICET exam pattern 2024 is as follows:

  • Exam Mode: The AP ICET exam is conducted in online mode at the allotted exam centre.
  • Section: The AP ICET question paper is divided into three sections: Section A, Section B, and Section C.
  • Duration: The exam is conducted for 2 hours 30 minutes.
  • Exam Language: Sections A and C are available in both English and Telugu medium whereas Section B is available only in English medium.

AP ICET 2024 Exam Analysis

The AP ICET exam for both slots 1 and 2 was moderately difficult. The question paper consists of a total of 200 questions divided across three sections. The section-wise AP ICET Paper Analysis 2023 has been provided below:

AP ICET 2024 Answer Key

AP ICET 2024 Answer Key will be released tentatively in the 4th week of May 2024. The AP ICET answer key along with the response sheet of the candidates is released on the official website in PDF format. Candidates can calculate their scores based on the answer key and their responses in the answer sheet.

If the candidate has any doubt or complaint regarding the answers in the released preliminary key, they can raise objections against it. To raise a challenge against the answer key candidates attach valid proof and pay a respective fee. After reviewing all the submitted challenges, the final AP ICET answer key is released.

AP ICET 2024 Result

The AP ICET Result 2024 will be declared online along with the rank card on the official website. Candidate can check and download their result by entering their registration number, AP ICET hall ticket number, and date of birth.

AP ICET result displays details such as the candidate’s name, registration number, sectional score, and total score. Candidates who have scored 25% marks (50 out of 200) are considered qualified and are assigned rank in the merit list.

AP ICET 2024 Merit List

The authorities will prepare the AP ICET merit list for all the qualified candidates based on their marks obtained in AP ICET 2024. The rank obtained in the AP ICET 2024 merit list is only valid for the academic year 2024-2025. In case, if more than one candidate has the same score, the following tie-breaking rules are applied to assign the rank:

  • The candidate with more marks in Section A ranks higher.
  • If the tie persists, the candidate with more marks in Section B ranks higher.
  • If the tie persists, the older candidate is given priority.

AP ICET 2024 Cutoff
