Telangana Department of School Education released TSTET Notification 2023
Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test (TSTET) is conducted by the Department of School Education, Government of Telangana in order to determine the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers for Classes 1 to 8 in Telangana State. The TSTET exam is conducted for two levels- Paper 1 and Paper 2. TSTET Paper 1 is for Primary Teachers who want to teach Classes 1 to 5 and TSTET Paper 2 is for Secondary Teachers who want to teach Classes 6 to 8. Candidates who want to teach Classes 1 to 8 need to appear for both papers.

TS TET Educational Qualification Criteria
The candidates need to fulfil the following Education Qualification criteria for TSTET Exam 2023.

| Paper – I (Class I to Class V) | Candidates must pass Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks. However in case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass in a 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR Candidates must have a Graduation with at least 50% marks, however in case of SC / ST / BC / Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45% AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Bachelor of Education (Special Education) |
| Paper – II (Class VI to Class VIII) | Candidates must pass B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks. In case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education). OR Candidates must pass 4-year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed., with at least 50% marks, in case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. OR Candidates must have a B.E/B.Tech degree with at least 50% marks and Passed / Pursuing Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or B.Ed. (Special Education). In respect of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. OR Candidates must have Graduation with language concerned as one of the optional subjects OR Bachelor of oriental language (or its equivalent) OR Graduation in literature OR Post Graduation in language concerned AND Language Pandit Training Certificate/B.Ed with language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers. |
Age Limit for TS TET 2023
To apply for the TS TET 2023 Exam, the age of the candidates should be above 18 years. However, the upper age is not prescribed in the official notification.

Department of School Education, the Government of Telangana prescribed the TS TET Syllabus 2023. Candidates who will participate in TS TET 2023 Exam must have complete knowledge of TS TET Syllabus 2023. The following are the subjects that will be asked in the TS TET Paper 1 and Paper 2 Exam.

Steps to Fill the TS TET Notification 2023 Application Form
