  • He comes from a family of athletes. His father, Surender Chhikara, was a long-distance runner, and his elder sisters, Savita Chhikara and Sheel Chhikara, were also 100m and 200m sprinters.
  • His father, Surender Chhikara, is employed as a sub-inspector with the Delhi Police and provides training to newly recruited officers at the Delhi Police Training Institute in Wazirabad. Additionally, Surender runs a cricket academy named SS Nalanda Cricket Hostel in Ghaziabad. He has also set up 12 practice wickets on his fields to facilitate Swastik’s training there.
