CAT 2022 Result has been announced on 21st December 2022. CAT (Common Admission Test) is a national level entrance examination to get admissions in the MBA professional programme and its specialisations. It is conducted once in a year. CAT entrance exam is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). Many other institutions also consider the CAT score card for providing admission into MBA programmes. The result cum scorecard of CAT 2022 will contain each candidate’s name, registration number, category, photo, sectional score, overall score, sectional percentile and overall percentile.
How to download CAT Result
Candidates are instructed to follow the steps given below:
- Go to the website link. (link will be given above)
- Click on the link and you get redirected to the CAT website for result.
- Now, enter your login details such as your user ID and password.
- Click on ‘login’ button.
- Your result/score card is appeared on your computer screen.
- Check it carefully and take extra printout of it.
- Keep it safe till the admission procedure.
CAT 2022/ 2023 Score Card
Appeared candidates can view or download their score card through online mode. CAT 2022 score card can be checked by entering the login details such as user Id and password. If candidate forget their password they can recover it by clicking on ‘forget Password’ button.
The selection procedure for the next rounds will be conducted after the few weeks of the declaration of result. The score card carry the candidate’s personal and qualifying marks details. It includes the marks scored in each section by the candidate.
CAT 2022/ 2023 Percentile Calculation
CAT result will be declared in the form of percentile. The CAT 2022 Percentile will be calculated on the basis of CAT marking scheme.
The total score is adjusted through a process called “equating”. Then, the score is normalized across different sections. Thereafter the normalized score secured by the candidates can be further converted into percentiles for the purposes of shortlisting.
CAT Admission Procedure
The list of the selected candidates will be displayed on each IIMS website. CAT 2022 Admission Process will be started after the result announcement. Every IIM will send the interview letter to the shortlisted candidates for their campus.
Each IIM has their own eligibility and selection criteria for providing admissions. It will vary IIM to IIM. The next date of selection procedure will be included with the written ability test (WAT), group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI).
The IIMs will also be considered other factors for offering admissions such as past academic performance, CAT 2022 score and above mentioned factors.
