Vangalapudi Anitha is the incumbent Home Minister of Andhra Pradesh and serves as an MLA from Payakaraopet of Andhra Pradesh. She was also elected to the same constituency in 2014. Payakaraopet is a Scheduled Caste reserved constituency of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, India. It is one among 15 constituencies in the Visakhapatnam district. Anita entered politics while working as a teacher in Rajavaram, a joint Visakha district. In the 2014 elections, he contested for the first time from Payakaraopet and won. After losing to Kovvur in the last election, she served as the president of the AP TEPDA women’s wing. Currently, she is a member of TDP Politburo. He won again from Payakaraopet in the 2024 elections with a majority of 43,727 votes… Now he got a place in the cabinet.
