Thangam Thennarasu Biography: Thangam Thennarasu was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly as a DMK candidate from Aruppukottai constituency in 1998 by-election, and 2006 election. He was also elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly as a DMK candidate from the Thirusuzhi constituency in 2011, 2016 and 2021, respectively. Presently, he is also sworn in as the Minister for Finance and Human Resources Development in the government of Tamil Nadu on 11th May, 2023.
