Telangana CM Swearing in ceremony, first signature on six guarantees

All set for the Congress party to form a new government in the state of Telangana. Anumula Revanth Reddy was sworn in as the second Chief Minister of the state at 1.04 pm today at Lal Bahadur Stadium in Hyderabad. Governor of Telangana Sri Tamilisai Soundararajan administered the oath to Revanth and his 11 cabinet ministers.

Revanth Reddy’s first signature on six guarantees

Revanth Reddy as chief minister first signed the draft of the ‘Six Guarantees’ law as the party’s election guarantee… It is reported that some other ministers will take oath along with him. In preparation for the formation of the new government, the Congress leaders handed over a letter with the signatures of the MLAs stating that Revanth Reddy had been elected as their leader in the CLP meeting. To this extent, the superiors have made arrangements for a swearing-in ceremony.

According to the protocol… Telangana High Court Chief Justice Justice Alok Aradhe has received invitations from the government. Invitations were also sent to the chief ministers of various states, former CMs and leaders of various political parties. Among them are former CMs KCR, Chandrababu, Tamil Nadu CM Stalin, AP CM Jagan, and others. It is reported that some Left leaders including CPI National General Secretary D. Raja will attend the swearing-in ceremony.

Six guarantees of Telangana

The new congress government of Telangana is all set to implement its 6 guarantee schemes on the same day of the CM’s swearing-in ceremony.

CM signed on 6 guarantees on December 7th

As Congress high command announced the date for CM Revanth Reddy’s swearing-in ceremony as chief minister of the state on 7th December, it is understood that CM signed 6 poll-bound guarantees.

6 guarantees of Congress are :

1. Mahalakshmi Scheme – Congress Guarantee 1:

• Under this guarantee scheme Women in state will receive ₹2,500 every month directly to their bank accounts.

• Women in state shall also get LPG gas cylinders at subsidized cost of ₹500

• Additionally women in state to get Free travel in Telangana RTC buses.

2. Rythu Bharosa – Congress Guarantee 2:

• Under this scheme Farmers and tenant farmers in the state shall receive ₹15,000 annually per acre.

• Also, Agricultural laborers will get ₹12,000 every year

• ₹500 bonus shall be provided to the farmers who cultivate paddy crop which will be additional to the MSP amount.

3. Gruha Jyothi – Congress Guarantee 3:

• All households will receive 200 units of free electricity under this scheme.

• Rented households are also eligible for this scheme. Consumers need not pay any amount upto 200 units of consumption.

4. Indiramma Indlu – Congress Guarantee 4:

• Under this scheme eligible persons without own house will be provided house site and ₹5 lakh rupees amount

• Telangana movement fighters will also receive 250 sq yards plots for free of cost under this scheme.

5. Yuva Vikasam – Congress Guarantee 5:

• Students will be granted Vidya Bharosa Cards worth ₹5 lakhs. Students who complete their college can utilize these cards basis the requirement

• There will be a Telangana International School in every mandal.

• Congress promises to fulfil 2 lakh jobs once come to power in the state.

6. Cheyutha – Congress Guarantee 6:

• A monthly pension of ₹4,000 shall be provided to all eligible pensioners in the state. • This pension covers senior citizens, widows, differently abled PWD, beedi workers, kallu workers, handloom weavers, single woman, aids patients , filaria and dialysis patients, shall get enhanced pension amount of 4000 every month.

• Also these pensioners shall benefit with ₹10 lakhs insurace under Rajiv Arogyasri insurance.
