P. G. V. R. Naidu Biography: Pethakamsetti Gana Venkata Reddy Naidu, also known as P.G.V.R., is an Indian politician who served as MLA (Member of Legislative Assembly) for Visakhapatnam West constituency in Andhra Pradesh. Initially, he represented the Pendurthi constituency (1999-2003) for the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) before shifting to Visakhapatnam West (2014-2019). During his career, he held various positions including Parliamentary incharge and President of District Sports Associations, reflecting his active involvement in politics and sports. Notably, P.G.V.R. was also a former international volleyball player, representing India in over 20 tournaments. While he is no longer an active MLA, his political journey and sporting achievements remain noteworthy within the Andhra Pradesh political landscape.
