• Apr-11-2022: After the reshuffle in YS Jagan’s cabinet Kannababu was left out from the cabinet.
• 8-Jun-2019: Today Kannababu Took Oath as Minister of Andhra Pradesh in YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Cabinet.
• 27-Jan-2016: Kurasala Kannababu joined YSRCP today in the presence of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
• 2014: Contested as an independent candidate in 2014 by resigning from the Congress party.
• 2011: As part of the PRP merger with the Congress Party, Kannababu Joined the Congress Party along with all other PRP MLAS.
