Thiru E.V.Velu Biography: E. V. Velu is an MLA of Thiruvannamalai and a Minister for Public Works Division in Tamil Nadu. He has also served as the Cabinet Minister for Food and Civil Supplies in the DMK government led by M. Karunanidhi. He earned an M.A. in History from Annamalai University, and besides being a seasoned politician, he is also chairman of various educational institutions.
