He currently serves as the Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the Penamaluru constituency in Krishna district, representing the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) since 2019. Rosaiah. Later, from 2010 to 2014, he donated the mantle of the Minister for Excise & Prohibition in the united Andhra Pradesh government.
