Prataprao Jadhav, a prominent figure in Maharashtra politics, is an active member of the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena. Currently serving as the incumbent MP of Buldhana, he has won four consecutive elections in this constituency. Before his parliamentary tenure, Jadhav served three terms as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Mehkar.
With a background in agriculture, Jadhav has also held ministerial positions in the Sena-Bharatiya Janata Party government, notably in the Ministry of Food Processing Industries.
His focus extends beyond politics to initiatives such as improving educational opportunities, especially for girls, and implementing economic welfare policies for farmers.
