K. R. Periyakaruppan Biography: K. R. Periyakaruppan is the senior leader from the DMK party and he is the former minister for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments in Tamil Nadu. He was born in Aralikkottai in 1959. He was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly from the Tirupattur constituency in 2006 election as a DMK candidate.
