Sameer Rizvi is an Indian cricketer born on December 6, 2003, in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. He is a right-handed batter and a right-arm off-spinner. Rizvi made his first-class debut on January 27, 2020, for Uttar Pradesh in the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy and his List A debut on December 11, 2021, for the same team in the 2021–22 Vijay Hazare Trophy.
He has also represented India at the U-19 level and has been known for his impressive performances in domestic cricket, particularly in the UPT20 league, where he captained the Kanpur Superstars and emerged as the leading run-scorer.
The Chennai Super Kings signed Rizvi for INR 8.40 crore in the IPL 2024 auction. He has scored 295 runs in 11 T20 innings at an impressive strike rate of 134.70, with two fifties.
