Rahul Chahar is an Indian cricketer who plays for Rajasthan state in domestic cricket and Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League. He is the right arm bowler. He is the cousin of another Indian cricketer Deepak Chahar.
Rahul Chahar started his domestic cricket career in 2016 where he played for Rajasthan in the Ranji Trophy between 2016-2017. He made his T20 domestic debut through IPL. He made his List A debut for Rajasthan in the 2016-17 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 25 February 2017. He made international debut in 2019 with T20 format on 6 August 2019 v West Indies and ODI on 23 July 2021 v Sri Lanka.
Rahul started his IPL Career in 2017 with Raising Pune Super Gaints and later he was bought by Mumbai Indians in 2028 and played in MI till 2021. Since 2022 he has been playing for Punjab Kings in IPL.

Rahul chahar paternal uncle, Lokendra Singh Chahar is his cricket coach who trained him along with his cousin Deepak Chahar together.He debuted in domestic cricket from Rajasthan in Ranji.
He was initially bought for IPL in 2017 by Raising Pune Super Gaints and later bought by Mumbai Indian in 2018 where he played till 2021. He is currently playing for Punjab Kings in IPL 2024.
