A Common Entrance Test designated as Telangana State Physical Education Common Entrance Test (TS PECET - 2022) will be conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University for the academic year 2022-2023 for seeking Admission into B.P.Ed.(2 Years) and D.P.Ed. Mahatma Gandhi University is going to conduct Telangana State Physical Education Common Entrance Test (TS PECET) and the schedule of the test has been released at TSCHE, Hyderabad. Physical Efficiency Tests will be conducted in July. A Common Entrance Test designated as Telangana State Physical Education Common Entrance Test (TSPECET) will be conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University for the academic year for seeking Admission into B.P.Ed.(2 Years) and D.P.Ed. (2 Years) Courses. The Last date to submission of Online Application form is April 13 for Common Entrance Test for the entry into the Physical Education courses.

Candidates can make the payment for TS PECET application form 2021 through TS Online centers or using debit card / credit card / net banking. The application fee is as per the table below.

Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for PECET.
Eligibility for B.P.Ed.(Two years): Candidates should have appeared third year degree final examination or passed three years degree recognized by any university in TS and AP or any other university recognized as equivalent thereto and should have completed 19 years of age on 01.07.2021. However, the candidate has to submit the pass certificate at the time of counselling.
Eligibility for U.G.D.P.Ed.(2 Years): Candidates should have appeared or passed Intermediate or equivalent course recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana State and should have completed 16 years of age. However, the candidate has to submit the pass certificate at the time of counselling.
The in-service Physical Education Teachers (P.E.Ts) seeking admission into B.P.Ed (One Year) Course or U.G.D.P.Ed. (2 Years) Course need not appear for any Entrance Test conducted by PECET Convener. They have to apply directly to the Director of School Education, Hyderabad through their respective D.E.O.s through proper channel. The Director of School Education will nominate a limited number of candidates to the respective colleges.
Note: Graduates obtained the degree under distance mode from Deemed to be Universities and Private Universities are not eligible unless such programs have the approval of joint action committee of UGC and Distance Education Council and AICTE.
The Telangana State Physical Education Common Entrance Test (TS PECET) Physical efficiency tests will be conducted from [will be announced soon]. The last date of submitting online application form without late fee is extended.
The tests will be held from [will be announced soon]. The test venue and day wise schedule will be available in the hall tickets. Candidates can download the hall tickets from the website of Telangana State Council of Higher Education. Professor Satyanarayana Convenor for the TSPECET said, “So far 6,150 candidates have applied for the TSPECET. Examiners who want to be active examiners can apply online.”
TS PECET Exam Pattern / Scheme of Exam: The scheme of the test is PET (Physical Efficiency Test). The maximum 400 marks for each event and marks shall be given conversion tables approved by TS PECET Committee Applied students must face the two levels of the selection process to get the seat in PECET offered Colleges in Telangana State.
Skill test in games – cancelled. Only Physical efficiency tests will be conducted (for details please see SCHEME OF EXAMINATION in website)
A. TS PECET is a Physical Efficiency Test: In this test, candidates are judged according to their performance in long jump / high jump. The grounds on which they are judged are 100 kn run, putting the shot, 400 meters run. This test is of 400 marks.
Physical Efficiency Test: It is conducted separately for male and female applicants.

The candidates have to choose either high jump or long jump for the test, at the time of application. You cannot change the opted option at the time of test. Candidates with heart ailments or any such serious ailments and differently-abled persons should not appear for these PET.
B. Skill Test in Game: However, the Skill Test in Game has conducted for 100 Marks. The skills of the students will be tested in any one of the following games opted by the contenders.
Eligible candidates, who wish to apply for PECET 2021, may submit their applications through Online mode only. The Registration fee @ Rs. 800/- (Rs. 400/- for SC /ST candidates )may be paid at TSOnline or AP ONLINE centres / meeseva centres / e-Seva centres in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh /through payment gateway (Credit card / Debit card) from 17th March 2021.
Procedure To Submit TS PECET Application Form: The below given steps are very useful to the students at the time of filling the Online Application Form for TS PECET.
TS PECET Hall Ticket: Candidates can download admit card for TS PECET online from pecet.tsche.ac.in. TS PECET hall ticket can be downloaded by entering the login credentials which are registration number, date of birth, and qualifying examination Hall ticket number.
Hall ticket consists of the details like name and address of the candidates, exam date, exam time, address of the exam center. Make sure the admit card is carried to the exam center in printed format. All students have to retain their admit card even after the exam is over. It is needed at the time of admission and counselling.
Result for TS PECET releases in the online mode at pecet.tsche.ac.in. Candidates can check their results by providing their hall ticket number and date of birth. TS PECET result is published in the form of a rank card. A merit list is also published on the official website after the declaration of results.
After the announcement of result, TS PECET the shortlisted candidates need to appear for the counselling. Candidates need to first appear at the helpline centers for the verification of documents. After that, candidates need to do select the options for courses and colleges online. After the selection of courses, candidates need to download the allotment letter and appear at the allotted institute for further admission processes.

Step 1: Application Fee Payment: The candidates have to first pay the application form fee before applying online. The candidate will have to fill in all the details in the respective fields and click on ‘Proceed to Payment’. The application fee payment can be done through net banking/debit card/credit card. Candidates will then be notified that the ‘transaction is successful’. From there on, aspirants can proceed to fill in the application form.
Step 2: Fill the TS PECET Online application form: After completion of Application Fee payment, candidates need to fill their TSPECET application form through online mode only. Candidates need to duly fill all details and submit their application form and download application form
Step 3: Download TS PECET Admit Card: The TS PECET admit card will be released one week before conduct of examination. Candidates can download the TSPECET admit card from the official website. Candidates are advised to check all the details and in case of any disparity, aspirants are advised to contact the varsity.
Step 4: Appear the TS PECET Exam: The TS PECET entrance exam will be conducted as per schedule. Candidates should appear the exam as per the dates. The exam will comprise two parts which are – Physical Efficiency Test and Skill Test in Game. Maximum marks that candidates can secure in TS PECET is 500 marks.
Step 5: Check TS PECET Result: TS PECET result is released on the official website of Telangana State Physical Education Common Entrance Test within one week after conducting of exam.
Step 6: Appear for TS PECET Counselling: The TS PECET Web BASE counselling will be conducted online one week after the results are announced. Qualified Candidates participate in web counselling process. Counselling involves like Fee payment for counselling process, Slot booking for Certificate Verification, Attend the Verification of documents, Exercise web options, Seat Allotment, Downloading Call Letter and report to the allotted college. They need to view the official website as well as newspapers on a regular basis.
