Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) invites online applications from Diploma holders in Agriculture and Seed Technology for admission into first year B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture and Degree program through a Computer Based Test AGRICET-2022 and Diploma holders in Agricultural Engineering for admission into first year B.Tech.(Agricultural Engineering) degree program through a Computer Based Test AGRIENGGCET-2022 for the academic year 2022-23.

ELIGIBILITY:
The Candidates who passed in

• Diploma in Agriculture from PJTSAU / ANGRAU only.
• Diploma in Seed Technology from PJTSAU / ANGRAU only.
• Diploma in Organic Agriculture from PJTSAU or Organic Farming from ANGRAU only.

(Those who are going to complete in 2019-20 academic year can also apply).

AGE LIMIT:
The candidate shall be required to have completed 17 years of age with an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 26 years in respect of S.C., S.T. and 28 years in respect of P.H candidates as on 31st December, 2022.

TOTAL SEATS:
65 seats  in  B.Sc. (Hons.)  Agriculture (58   for Agricultural Diploma students + 07 for Seed
Technology Diploma students)

SYLLABUS:
Syllabus covered in Diploma in Agriculture / Diploma in Seed Technology (New syllabus) / Diploma in Organic Agriculture and latest varieties & technologies developed by PJTSAU; Central and State Government schemes related to Agriculture.

TS AGRICET 2022 Application Fees

OC & BC applicants: Rs.1200/- (Rupees twelve hundred only) + Net Banking / Debit Card/Credit Card charges.
SC / ST / PH applicants : Rs.600/- (Rupees six hundred only) + Net Banking / Debit Card/Credit Card charges.
MEDIUM OF ENTRANCE TEST :

• AGRICET      – Telugu Language
• AGRIENGGCET       – English Language

Eligibility Criteria for TS AGRICET 2022

The  merit  list  of  the   candidates   will   be   displayed   in   the   University   Website:  www.pjtsau.edu.in. During the preparation of merit list, in case more than one student secures the same combined score, the tie shall be resolved to decide the relative ranking by successively considering the following:

• The total marks secured in AGRICET & AGRIENGGCET – 2022
• The percentage of aggregate marks secured in the qualifying examinations i.e.,. Diploma in Agriculture / Diploma in Seed Technology / Diploma in Agricultural Engineering.
• SSC Overall Grade Point
• If the tie still persists, the date of birth of the candidates concerned, the older being given preference over the younger.

Admissions will be made strictly as per the rule of reservation based on merit through the Entrance Test.
Candidates seeking admissions in diploma and agriculture and seed technology courses by ANGRAU, PJTSAU candidates should fulfill the eligibility instructions are given below.

• Aspirants must qualify in 2 year diploma in agriculture and seed technology can apply for the TS AGRICET.
• Aspirants who completed the diploma course last year are also eligible for this TS AGRICET Admissions 2022
• Aspirants must complete 17 years of age on December 31^st, 2018.
• Aspirants should not exceed 22 years of age on December 31^st, 2018
• For SC, ST categories they may not exceed 26 years of age.
• PH Candidates must not cross 28 years of age

TS AGRICET Exam Pattern 2022

The Applicants before going to appear for the examinations all the aspirants should need to check the exam pattern 2022, so that you can get an idea about TS AGRICET Examination 2022. The Exam Pattern is given below; just follow the paper pattern given below.
TS AGRICET Examination will commence on July 2022. The mode of Exam will be conducted in online only. It covers all the subjects in Diploma and seed technology courses. The paper will be asked in full objective type question and answers. The paper consists of 100 objective type questions and time duration is one and half hour. The examination will be conducted in Telugu medium.
