Prashant Solanki is an Indian spinner who represents Mumbai in the domestic circuit and Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. The right-arm leg spinner is an old-school spin bowler who likes to rely on his wrist spin bowling. He can vary his pace very well in the air and is pretty good with his trick like a googly. Solanki started his professional career with Mumbai in the 2021-22 season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy and impressed onlookers with his performance with the ball. In his debut game, he recorded a five-wicket haul. He next managed to break into the Mumbai squad for the 2021-22 season of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and once again was pretty impressive with his tricks.\u00a0 On the back of his remarkable uprise, his inclusion in the IPL 2022 auction turned out to be a piece of a hot topic. The uncapped Indian player was enlisted with a base price of Rs 20 lakhs. However, a fierce bidding war between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings saw it finally ending at Rs 1.2 crores. The Chennai-based franchise was impressed with Solanki’s abilities who was a net bowler for them in 2021. They finally managed to sign him ahead of the 2022 IPL. Solanki although played only two games in his debut campaign and took just two wickets. However, he is part of the CSK <\/a>side in the 2023 edition as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
