This scheme aims to mitigate the unemployment problems of the socially and economically weaker section of society. It is specifically designed for the educated and unemployed to become self-employed in their native places itself so as to prevent the mass migration from rural areas to urban areas due to unemployment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is achieved by financing these youths to set up Manufacturing \/ Service \/ Business enterprises. They are given loans along with subsidy assistance from the State Government for up to 25% of the project cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lots of Youth wants to start their business to become Entrepreneurs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>But due to the financial crunch and high cost of projects, some of them dropped the idea of starting their business.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>But Tamil Nadu Government came up with an initiative to help those unemployed youths who eagerly wants to start their own business.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unemployed Youth Employment Generation Programme is going to be the major social welfare programme Tamil Nadu Government.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The main objective behind launching this programme is to support the youth of Tamil Nadu financially and help them to make their employment generation venture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This programme will help to generate employment for unemployed youth and as well as create employment opportunities for other people also.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under the Unemployed Youth Employment Generation Programme, the Government of Tamil Nadu will provide capital subsidies to new entrepreneurs for setting up their income generation activity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Capital Subsidy of 25% of the Total Project Cost or a Maximum of Rs. 2,50,000\/- will be provided to eligible applicants under the Unemployed Youth Employment Generation Programme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Capital Subsidy will be provided on below mentioned maximum project cost:-<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Category<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Project Cost<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Manufacturing<\/td><td>Rs. 15,00,000\/-<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Business\/ Trading<\/td><td>Rs. 5,00,000\/-<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Service<\/td><td>Rs. 5,00,000\/-<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Beneficiary has to contribute the following percentage of project cost from their own pocket :-\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For General Category Beneficiary: &#8211; 10% of Project Cost.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For Special Category Beneficiary: &#8211; 5% of Project Cost.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The remaining amount of the Project Cost will be provided as a bank loan to the applicant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There will be no Collateral Security required for bank loans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The repayment period of a bank loan is 5 years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only those beneficiaries are eligible for capital subsidy whose annual family income is below Rs. 5,00,000\/- per year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eligible Entrepreneurs of Tamil Nadu can apply for capital subsidy by filling out the&nbsp;Online Application Form of the Tamil Nadu Unemployed Youth Employment Generation Programme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Benefits_for_Tamil_Nadu_Unemployed_Youth_Employment_Generation_Programme\"><\/span><strong>Benefits for Tamil Nadu Unemployed Youth Employment Generation Programme<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The following benefits will be provided to Entrepreneurship\/ Applicant under Tamil Nadu Government&#8217;s Unemployed Youth Employment Generation Programme :-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Capital Subsidy of 25% of Project Cost or Maximum of Rs. 2,50,000\/- will be provided to Entrepreneurs. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bank Loan will be provided for the Remaining Project Cost.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No Collateral Security Required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5 Years of Loan Repayment Period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maximum Project Cost per Entrepreneur should be Rs. 15,00,000\/- for manufacturing. 5,00,000\/- for Business\/ Trading.Rs. 5,00,000\/- for Service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Eligibility_for_Tamil_Nadu_Unemployed_Youth_Employment_Generation_Programme\"><\/span><strong>Eligibility for Tamil Nadu Unemployed Youth Employment Generation Programme<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicant should be a Permanent Resident of Tamil Nadu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicant should have passed minimum Class 8th.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Annual Family Income of Applicant should be below Rs. 5,00,000\/-.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Age of Applicant should be :-\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Between 18 Years to 35 Years for General Applicant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Between 18 Year to 45 Years for below mentioned Special Category Applicant :-\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Women.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minorities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Backward Class.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Most Backward Class.<br>Schedule Caste.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Schedule Tribe.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ex-Servicemen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transgenders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Differently Abled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Project Cost Contribution of Applicant should be:-\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>10% of the Total Project Cost for General Applicants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5% of Total Project Cost for Special Category Applicant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Documents_Required_for_Tamil_Nadu_Unemployed_Youth_Employment_Generation_Programme\"><\/span><strong>Documents Required for Tamil Nadu Unemployed Youth Employment Generation Programme<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The below mentioned documents are required to avail of the benefit of the Tamil Nadu Unemployed Youth Employment Generation Programme:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Residence Proof of Tamil Nadu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ration Card.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Class 8th Education Related Documents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nativity Certificate.
